Teignmouth in Bloom

Allowing wild flowers to flourish in the cemetery not only encourages bio-diversity but adds natural seasonal colour, changing from Spring through Summer to the Autumn hues.

We have also added our own colour by planting up graves with a range of plants and creating more formal borders in the areas surrounding the main buildings.  This led to our taking part in Teignmouth in Bloom for several years, securing a first place in our category one year and this year a second place for our Jubilee display. Thanks to our volunteer Jacqui Aplin for putting together this year’s display.
