Many people visit the cemetery and post photographs onto our Facebook page. This section captures a collection of those to represent how others view the cemetery – its buildings, its graves, its colour, its nature, its views, in short capturing the essence of the cemetery.
March 2021 – The Essence of Spring
We were in the third COVID lockdown and, following the great response for photos of the cemetery in autumn, we put out another call on social media to all photographers to get out and about, get some exercise and help us record a Spring view of the cemetery. Once again there was a tremendous response and all the hundreds of photographs were recorded on our Facebook site as they came in. This is just a selection and everyone who contributed has at least one photograph here, whether it came as a thumbnail from a mobile phone or high res from a more sophisticated camera. There are some atmospheric views, plenty of daffodils and also a variety of yellows and other colours. Enjoy.
