In 1851 her father, Albert H Taylor, was an unmarried apprentice aged 19 and living with his parents James & Harriett in Leigh Villa, Strand, East Teignmouth. James was a carpenter and builder. Albert was born in Teignmouth, baptised on 08 Sep 1831 in West Teignmouth.
Her father age 21 married Sarah Jane Boyce age 22 on 09 Sep 1852 at St James the Great, Devonport.
Their stillborn child was buried in an unbricked grave in consecrated ground. No-one presided over the burial.
