Susan Browning (Entry 10 in the burial register) was buried 19th March 1856 in plot F46
Research Notes: There was a Susan Browning of the right age in Exminster in 1841 and one working as a servant in Dawlish in 1851 but if it’s the right individual why would she have been buried in Teignmouth?
According to the burial register Susan was a 22 year old domestic servant. She died at the Union House, Newton Abbot, in the parish of Wolborough. She was buried in an unbricked grave in consecrated ground. The burial was presided over by Revd J W Mason.
She was the second young single woman dying at the Union House, Newton Abbot, within a month.
