Who are buried in the war graves?

The Teign Heritage Centre has completed two projects to document all those commemorated as fallen during the two world wars. So, rather than repeating that information, click on each name to go through to their site for further information. Click on the photographs for a larger view and go to the end of the list to see the map showing the location of each grave.

On 22nd April 2021 we were contacted by Edwin Henry Ford’s grandson, Laurence Ford, who sent us the following message:

I wish to say thank you for looking after my Grandfather’s war grave which I do visit at least once a year. My grandfather being E.H.Ford.  Additionally I am impressed with the information you have put on the website about all those local  servicemen who lost  their lives in World War 1. Should you want a picture of E.H. Ford to add it to his piece I can send one”.

Just as a point of interest he is also remembered  on the Holsworthy war  memorial along with 2 other family members
