Location

Teignmouth Old Cemetery lies between Exeter Road and Higher Buckeridge Road and has main entrances on both roads. On-road parking is available most easily on Higher Buckeridge Road. Use the interactive map below to zoom in on the location, which is the green shaded area above the red marker.

Brief Directions

• Coming from Exeter you approach Teignmouth on the B3192 which becomes “Exeter Road” as you enter the northern suburbs of the town. Dropping down the hill from there you will see the cemetery on the left-hand side. Continue down until just past the cemetery where you turn left into New Road and then 2nd left into Higher Buckeridge Road.
• From the Dawlish direction you approach Teignmouth on the A379. At the top of the hill after passing through Holcombe you turn right into New Road. Continue for about half-a-mile and turn right into Higher Buckeridge Road.
• From Newton Abbot you approach Teignmouth on the A381. Having passed Shaldon Bridge you continue to the next main set of traffic lights where you turn left up Exeter Road. Continue uphill until the road flattens. Turn right into New Road and then 2nd left into Higher Buckeridge Road

If you are looking for the New Cemetery its main entrance is also on Higher Buckeridge Road, on the eastern side, directly opposite the entrance to the Old Cemetery.
